Japan is the world’s third-largest economy and Japanese contribution the world electronics, automobile, and scientific research has been tremendous since the end of the Second World War. Japanese culture represented by its inimitable cuisine, literature, films, fashion, art, popular animation and comics, martial arts and so much more has influenced the world in myriad ways.
Japanese language training is built around the framework of JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test) conducted across the world by the Japan Foundation and Japan Educational Exchanges and Services.

Aimed at beginners, our Japanese Beginners Self Expression course (N5.1) is a great introduction to the language. It lays the accent on speaking and writing beginner level Japanese with confidence. It also lays the foundation for Kanji and starts from a pretty early stage to try getting the student accustomed to reading texts with known kanji without resorting to phonetic scripts. The course is for 25 hours and is based on the first third of the JLPT N5 syllabus.
Class size – Maximum of 8-10 students


Japanese language training is built around the framework of JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test) conducted across the world by the Japan Foundation and Japan Educational Exchanges and Services.
In N5.2 you will learn the following: a larger number of essential kanji, write and understand some basic phrases that are essential in everyday life and also get an introduction to Japanese culture- business etiquette, lifestyle, and pop culture.
The Beginner’s N5.2 course is 50 hours in duration.


The N4 level uses the building blocks laid down by N5 to build on the student’s capacity to converse fluently on familiar themes and every day events. Almost 300 new kanji are introduced, in order to make sure that the learner can comprehend written Japanese in daily occurrence. The course introduces simple texts from children’s literature and manga so that the student assimilates easily the nuances of every day Japanese usage.
